Quick and Easy Garden Privacy Trellis

This is our quick Garden Privacy Trellis project.  Quick build and turned out great!

Genesis of the project:

Since we just finished our new poured stamped concrete patio project and our fire pit project (Both of which will be future posts), Deb and I were relaxing in the back yard and starting talking about landscaping, flowers, plants, and privacy.  Not necessarily in that order.  We decided that the next thing we should do is go about putting up some trellises.  That way we could plant some ivy or other flowers on them so they can vine to provide both beauty and limited privacy.  We could also mount planter boxes to it for growing spices and flowers. We could even end up doing both.  Ivy and flowers for the neighbors view, and planter boxes for our view.

These two trellises were built in about 3 hours.  That includes the first one where i was creating the design.  After the first one was built, the second one was made in less than an hour.  And that’s mostly due to me continually checking back with the design of the first one for visual and spacing checks. I wanted them as identical as possible.
