Final Thoughts – Mounting

Mounting these bad boys in the back yard will be fun and I’m looking forward to getting them up so we can enjoy them.  As usual though, Deb likes to challenge me with design limitations.  For mounting these, here are her requirements:

• No concrete to hold them up.  Holes are fine.
• She would like to be able to take them with us if we ever move
• She still has to decide exactly where she wants them (This may be the hardest thing to nail down)

My thoughts are that we’ll take a few other 2x4s we have, bury them deep in the ground and use heavy duty bolts to fasten them to the trellises.  What are your thoughts?
