Quick and Easy Garden Privacy Trellis

Tools and Wood Pieces

Tools used:

  • Air Nailer with 2″ nails (You could choose to attach differently)
  • Table Saw
  • Jigsaw (If you are going to arch the top header)
  • Pencil
  • Tape Measure
  • Straight edge (I used another Fence board)

Lumber used:

  • Two – 8ft Pressure Treated 2×4
  • Six – 6ft Fence boards (this was approximate as I used some wood left over from the first trellis to make the second)

I used pretty basic tools for this job. A table saw did the cutting of the fence panel pieces. I didn’t cut the 2x4s as they were 8 feet and I based my design on that.  I only used the jigsaw for the top arch for both of the two trellises I initially created. I had my air-nailer out from when I was constructing the pantry project, so I used it to attach the everything together.
